The O&L festival Perth 2026 is proudly brought to you by your hosts Perth Pride Choir!

Perth Pride Choir welcomes members of the LGBTIQA+ community, from all colours of the sexuality and gender diversity rainbow and our allies, with a common love of music and singing.  We aim to provide an inclusive and safe space to build community, while having fun creating music together. Our motto is Harmony in Diversity.

All our rehearsals are open to the public and to potential new members, so why not pay us a visit!

We rehearse every Thursday evening at 7pm, at Royal Park Hall, at the corner of Charles and Vincent Streets, West Perth, WA.

Meet the PPC Out & Loud Crew

     Mass Choir Director

Mirelle Hopwood

Mirelle joined PPC as our Musical Diector in 2022 and we    are so proud to have her at the helm.  Mirelle is a      passionate advocate for choral singing, not only as a central part of any musical education, but also for the profound expressive, social, emotional and physiological benefits it delivers and the community that it creates.

An acomplished flutist, Mirelle embarked on a double major in flute and voice at WAAPA, and completed it with a Graduate Diploma in education.  Since 2001, Mirelle has worked as a classroom teacher and ensemble director at one of Perth’s premier music institutions, Churchlands Senior High School. She has also worked for the WA Massed Choir Festival since 2012 as committee member and co-conductor, sharing the joy of choral singing with thousands of primary school students each year.

We are delighted to have her as O&L Perth Choral Festival Mass Choir director!
